These kids will lead America into the next century. We believe every child is entitled to an educational experience that combines scholarly inquiry, technical skill development and discovery.

Junior Achievement of San Diego has played an important role in the lives of more than 600,000 young San Diegans since it was founded in 1950. In the areas of financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship, Junior Achievement helps students make the critical connections between classroom learning and life after graduation by enhancing the relevance of education. JA programs use experiential learning and role-modeling to reinforce key concepts.
The Music Machine is a nationally ranked mixed show choir featuring singing, dancing, and acting. "The Machine" has continually set the standard by which other high school show choirs are measured. This show choir has embarked upon a cultural exchange program that is unparalleled. Internationally known, The Music Machine has thrilled audiences with their singing and dancing in 13 countries on 4 continents! They represent this country as ambassadors of "what's right with American Youth".
Of the 16,000 high schools in the United States, The Music Machine is consistently ranked in the top 10 in the nation, receiving over 350 awards in competition!
Boys and Girls Clubs calls itself "A Positive Place for Kids". The Clubs are places where children can learn and play in a safe supervised environment. For so many children, the Clubs are the only alternative to the streets where drugs, crime, and poverty are everyday facts of life.
The Clubs provide programs for youths ages six to seventeen. Annually, the Clubs serve over 5,000 boys and girls through youth programs such as: tutoring and homework assistance, crafts classes, dance groups, team sports, swimming, self-esteem workshops, leadership programs, neighborhood clean-up projects, and cultural, recreational, and educational trips.
The Gratitude Initiative (GI) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit that works with
children of military service members and veterans including those wounded or
killed in combat. GI supports America's military families at no cost to them by
providing funds and critical programs that are proven to put young people on the
path to educational and career success
